Job Description
Our client is a leading global supplier of pigments and additives to the concrete and asphalt industries, serving customers across 40+ countries and 5 continents. With continued growth and innovation in the sector, they are now looking for a proactive and skilled Account Manager to join their team at their Flint site.
Key Responsibilities: As an Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Posting sales and purchase invoices with precision.
Reconciling account balances to statements and resolving any discrepancies.
Verifying goods delivery notes against invoices for accuracy.
Managing credit control by following up with debtors and ensuring timely payments.
Performing general accounts and credit control duties, including:
Posting payments and receipts.
Updating cash books.
Contacting customers via email and phone to manage credit control.
Raising sales invoices and commission payments.
Assisting with incoming calls during busy periods.
Supporting the team with additional administrative tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within the concrete and asphalt, or related industries.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with financial platforms.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Our client is due to move sites in the near future from Flint to Llandyrnog. A driving license is essential as you will be required to commute to Llandyrnog following the transition.
Experience:
Microsoft Office: 3 years (preferred)
Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
Credit Control: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (required)
